LEGAL NOTICE, GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE FOR THE UNIVERSIA PORTAL AND USER INFORMATION

Portal Universia S.A. offers the PORTAL www.universia.es to internet users free of charge. However, some of the PORTAL content and services will not be accessible without prior registration and/or payment of the amount, where applicable, due as per the particular conditions of these services.

Access to and/or the use of PORTAL UNIVERSIA is completely voluntary and those who do so are known as USERS. All USERS accept, upon access the site, and without reservation the content of these "General Conditions" and, where applicable, the "Particular Conditions" which may complement, substitute or modify these in any sense regarding the services and content of the PORTAL. Consequently, the USER should read these carefully prior to access and use of any PORTAL service, under their full responsibility.

In any case, PORTAL UNIVERSIA reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to deny access to this site to any users who breach these general conditions or any applicable particular conditions.

PORTAL UNIVERSIA offers USERS the possibility of navigating the site, accessing the contents and services of the PORTAL provided that this is done in accordance with these GENERAL CONDITIONS.
In any case, PORTAL UNIVERSIA reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify or remove the content, structure, design, services and conditions of access/use for this site whenever considered appropriate to do so.

General Principles - User Liability

The USER agrees to use the services and contents provided by the Portal in line with current legislation, principles of good faith and generally acceptable behaviour, and not to contravene public order through the use of this site. The Universia user will not use the service to transmit anything which may threaten the value and dignity of others, in line with national and international human rights regulations.
The Universia user undertakes to supply truthful and exact information about him/herself on the Universia registration form.

Furthermore, it is strictly forbidden to reproduce, distribute, transmit, adapt or modify, via any means and in any way, the content of the Portal Universia Web (texts, designs, graphics, information, databases, sound and/or image files, logos,...) and other elements on this site, without express prior permission from the legitimate owners of this material or where permitted to do so by law.

The user, from the moment he/she registers with PORTAL UNIVERSIA S.A, authorises this company to offer informative and promotional correspondence services. If the user does not wish to receive this type of correspondence consent may be withdrawn at any time via an email sent to the following address: registro@universia.net., which will result in removal from the Universia register.
Any use of the above content for commercial or advertising purposes other than that strictly allowed is also forbidden, as is the breach of any rights relating to that content.

Conditions to be met by users who wish to include a hyperlink between their web site and the Universia S.A. portal.
Under no circumstances can it be understood that the Universia Portal authorises the hyperlink or has supervised or accepted in any way the services or content offered on the site which includes the hyperlink.

No false, incorrect or inexact declarations or references may be made regarding the Universia page and services.

The page where the hyperlink is established may not include any signs or marks referring to the Universia Portal except those forming part of the hyperlink itself.

It is strictly forbidden to create any type of browser or border environment over the Universia pages.

No content which infringes the rights of third parties, nor which is contrary to accepted morals and good practice, nor illicit content or information, may be included on the website from which the hyperlink is established.

The existence of a hyperlink between a website and Universia does not mean that there is a relationship between the Universia Portal and the owner of the other page, nor can Universia accept responsibility for its contents or services.

The USER will be solely responsible for the use of this site and for compliance with all of these GENERAL CONDITIONS. Consequently, the USER undertakes to keep secret, as a confidential and reserved piece of information, all access keys, passwords or similar data assigned for accessing the Portal or any of its related services, and is liable for any damage or inconvenience of any nature resulting from the incorrect use by the user or by a third party, either against the same user, this being considered the result of user negligence, or those suffered by the PORTAL UNIVERSIA as a result of a breach of these GENERAL CONDITIONS.

Any breach of these GENERAL CONDITIONS may lead to extrajudicial procedures or civil or criminal court proceedings as applicable.
Waiver of Guarantee and Liability

PORTAL UNIVERSIA cannot guarantee nor be held liable, under no circumstances, for the following facts and content, nor for any damage or inconvenience caused by these:

Unavailability, or lack of continuity, access, maintenance and effective operation of the web and/or services and the updating, precision, thoroughness, relevance, currentness and reliability of content, for whatever reason, and the difficulties or technical problems or those of any other nature which originate from this fact.

The transmission and/or existence of viruses, or other elements or programmes which are harmful to the user PC or which may affect them, as a result of the access, use or study of the site, or which cause alterations to electronic documents or files.

Illicit, negligent, or fraudulent use, adopting the identity of a third party in breach of these general conditions, or contrary to good faith or generally accepted usage or to public order, of the website, its services or contents, by the USER.

Breach or infraction of current applicable laws, uses or customs in terms of intellectual property, industrial property, confidential business or contractual issues, the right to privacy, honour, image, property, advertising or competitions, among other, by third parties.
Faults or errors in the content and/or services accessed through the PORTAL UNIVERSIA.
The receipt, storage, obtaining, dissemination or transmission by USERS of the content of the PORTAL.

The knowledge of any information which may be in possession or be used by unauthorised third parties regarding the nature and circumstance for use of the content and services of PORTAL UNIVERSIA by USERS.
The breach, by third parties, of any obligations arising from, or contracted to hereunder, regarding the services offers to USERS through the PORTAL UNIVERSIA, or as a result of a lack of quality, reliability, adaptation to the offer, legality, usefulness and availability of the services offered by third parties and made available to USERS on this site.

Applicable Legislation and Jurisdiction
